iOS and Android app development

One Flutter codebase, native apps on iOS and Android. We plan for the year after launch, not just launch day.

What we make

Who it’s for

A painted courtyard from Sortaring: a stone terrace among pink blossom trees, waterfalls and a turquoise pool.

Our own work

Sortaring is a Flutter app as well as a game: progress saved on the device, 7 languages, and an Android release on the way to Google Play.

Tools we use

Flutter, React Native, and native Swift and Kotlin, with Firebase for sign-in, data, notifications and analytics.

Questions

Why Flutter?

One codebase compiles to native apps on both platforms, which usually means less to build and less to maintain. If your app needs something Flutter doesn’t do well, we’ll say so.

Can you take over an existing app?

Yes. Rebuilding or continuing an existing app is part of this practice. We start by reading the code and telling you what we find.

Do you publish the app to the stores?

Yes, store release is part of the work. Accounts (stores, domain, analytics, ads) are created in your name.

What happens after launch?

Ongoing care is optional: updates for new OS versions, fixes and new features, for as long as you need them.
